♦NPR/Public Broadcasting System: WXXI-AM (1370), WXXI-FM (91.5). ♦Stephens Media Group: WRMM-FM (101.3), WZNE-FM (94.1), WFKL-FM (93.3).

Newspapers
The Democrat and Chronicle, owned by Virginia-based Gannett Co., Inc., is the area's largest seven-day newspaper. It's circulation has been is steady decline, but its average Sunday circulation is still nearly 200,000 copies. Its editorial slant was distinctly conservative during the Frank Gannett/Paul Miller era, but the tone has been unabashedly liberal for the last three decades.
The other daily with a meaningful presence in the market is The Daily Messenger, the Canandaigua publication owned by GateHouse Media. It operates online under the MPNnow.com umbrella that includes the chain's string of suburban weeklies. The Daily Record, owned by Dolan Media Co., covers the courts, real estate and finance. It's a must-read in the legal community.
